- Me: Ya, Forgot to recharge the batteries so... ya
- Mr. Client: ehh.. just wondering and make sure, ... How many illustrations you made for us in the last project?
- Me: hmmmmm... about 73 , why?
- Mr. Client: Had our editor told you? Do you have any idea how much you get from the last project?
- Me: No, I thought it would be the same, just like the other project, why?
- Mr. Client: Oh gosh, I think our editor forgot to tell you, sorry, Do you have any difficulty when you did it? the illustrations? what the difference between the usual project?
- Me: Hmmmm.. ya, I should read the whole article, in a really really limited time, and umm... your editor told me, there was gonna be... like 40 illustrations, one illustration for each article (that should be 40 articles in there) but actually there were 72 articles, then your editor also told me that the illustrations must be funny so funny hilarious. That's my problem, made the character funny . I should rethink my idea once again. (Just FYI, I did it for whole 2 weeks with lack of sleep). Is there any problem with my work?
- Mr. Client : Uh mmm.. No.. no.. it just over budget, I mean usually when we order a lot of artworks, the price of each artwork is different from the usual one. hmmm ... so Obviously, You don't know it because my editor didn't tell you.
- Me: ..............
- Mr. Client: Yeah ...
- Me: so You gonna cut my money ?
- Mr. Client : no... it just lower price for each illustration than the usual , how do you think?
- Me: so ?? how much I get my money?
- Mr. Client : ya about ******** dollars
- Me: ehmm ergh .. could you make it higher ?/
- Mr. Client : okey I'll discuss it wait for my call.
- .... Telphone ringging in 20 second later....
- Mr. client: how bout ******* dollars
- Me: -.-!...........................
- Mr. Client : okey, Are you okey? I think you are okey ... deal
- So They cut my money, they cut a quarter from which it should be paid. I think I should rearrange my shopping list. -_-*
